What is Valentine's Day?
I found the definition from Wikipedia today as I was very free surfing the Internet for the whole day. It reads:
Valentine's Day or Saint Valentine's Day is a holiday celebrated on February 14 by many people throughout the world. In the West, it is the traditional day on which lovers express their love for each other by sending Valentine's cards, presenting flowers, or offering confectionery. The holiday is named after two among the numerous Early Christian martyrs named Valentine. The day became associated with romantic love in the circle of Geoffrey Chaucer in the High Middle Ages, when the tradition of courtly love flourished.
The day is most closely associated with the mutual exchange of love notes in the form of "valentines". Modern Valentine symbols include the heart-shaped outline, doves, and the figure of the winged Cupid.

The second time we were going through Valentine's Day together. However, you were so faraway from me this year. This special occasion made me feel sadder and lonelier than ever. I wish that you were by my side :( Hopefully, in years to come, we can celebrate this special occasion together again. Thank you for the lovely gifts, I love them so much!
And thank you for walking together with me in my life. My life has becoming so colorful because of YOU. I miss you very, very much!

I LOVE YOU VERY MUCH, CHONG HOW!
HAPPY VALENTINE 2009

Liz Gilbert's Meaningful Quotes from Eat, Pray, Love: Something Worth to Learn About in Our Life

Quote 1 "You have been to hell, Ketut?" He smiled. Of course he's been there. What's it like in hell?" Same like in heaven," he said. He saw my confusion and tried to explain. "Universe is a circle, Liss." He said. "To up, to down -- all same, at end." I remembered an old Christian mystic notion: As above, so below. I asked. "Then how can you tell the difference between heaven and hell?" Because of how you go. Heaven, you go up, through seven happy places. Hell, you go down, through seven sad places. This is why it better for you to go up, Liss." He laughed. "Same-same," he said. "Same in end, so better to be happy in journey." I said, "So, if heaven is love, then hell is.. " Love, too," he said. Ketut laughed again, "Always so difficult for young people to understand this!" — Elizabeth Gilbert (Eat, Pray, Love) Quote 2 "He showed me a sketch he'd drawn

BYE BYE, KATHMANDU

Kathmandu... The place where you and I experienced our lives together... Away from anyone, and everyone... We laughed together there with our silly jokes, We cried together when we had arguments. We shared the pain, boredom and loneliness of lives together... We experienced the suffer due to load shedding up to 16 hours daily not knowing how to pass time, I first learned to cook there, and we had the same dishes for dinner over and over again for the whole week in order to save our expenses... Before you left for Kathmandu again, you told me that you were sorry seeing me suffer so much in Nepal. Honestly, I could not get used to the life there, but I made myself stayed there for a few months because I was really unwilling to be apart from you. Now, I realize that life has to go on...I have my dreams to achieve and I am running out of time. I understand how sad you feel to return there alone...as I went there before and I know what kind of place there is... I feel the same thing... I f

SANTA CLAUS IS COMING TO TOWN

A Christmas Fantasy X'mas 2007 X'mas Dinner @ Picolino S tepping into the month of December 2008 finally... Christmas Day is just 3 weeks away. No feeling of excitement for Christmas this year as we are going to celebrate in Nepal. It was my first time celebrating Christmas with him in December 2007 last year. This year is going to be the second time we celebrate Christmas together. Recalling back the emotions at that time, I was really excited to celebrate this special occasion with him. I was so excited writing him a Christmas card, I was so excited to give him the gift which I had a hard time choosing alone. All these are just memories now... I do not feel any Christmas feel here in Nepal, unlike the previous years when I celebrated Christmas in the United Kingdom or Malaysia. I guess this is not a major celebration for the people here. I have even nearly forgotten that Christmas is coming near, until when I chatted with my sister yesterday. She shared with me about the p
